Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has disbursed N50,000 every to six,680 ladies to empower them and allow them to help their fast households.
This was contained in a press release issued by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad on Sunday.
The disbursement ceremony, which held on the Authorities Home, Kano on Saturday was attended by hundreds of ladies from 44 Native Authorities Areas and devoted members of the APC.
Governor Yusuf emphasised that the N50,000 month-to-month empowerment grant would allow beneficiaries to contribute to the expansion of petty buying and selling throughout the state.
He revealed that these disbursements have been ongoing for the reason that inception of the present administration, noting that the usual of dwelling for hundreds of much less privileged ladies has already improved considerably.

Governor Yusuf assured residents of continued dividends of democracy and urged them to take care of their help for the administration’s human-oriented programmes.
The Governor expressed his appreciation to the State Home of Meeting, below the management of Speaker Hon. Jibril Ismail Falgore, the chairmen of the 44 Native Authorities Councils and APC members for his or her roles in guaranteeing the programme achieves its targets.
In his remarks, the Speaker Kano State Home of Meeting , Hon. Jirbin Ismaila Falgore urged the beneficiaries to take the help as a blessing and appealed to them to make the absolute best use of the funds.
Of their respective speeches, the Member representing Fagge Federal Constituency, Barr. Shehu; Mohammed Bello, the Chairperson of the Affiliation of Native Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hajiya Saadatu Yushau Soja; and APC Ladies Chief, Hajiya Fatima Abdullahi Dala, recommended Governor Yusuf for his dedication to human capital growth and its direct impression on the citizenry.
