Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, former Chief of Employees to ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, has resumed duties on the College of Pennsylvania, United States, as a visiting scholar.
Talking in an interview, Gambari disclosed that he has begun work on his memoir as a part of his tutorial tasks on the establishment.
He defined that upon arriving on campus in Philadelphia, he instantly commenced documenting his a long time of expertise in diplomacy, governance, and worldwide relations.
Gambari was obtained on the college by Wale Adebanwi, a senior tutorial and departmental head within the Graduate Faculty.
The veteran diplomat was appointed Distinguished Visiting Scholar on the Heart for Africana Research of the College of Pennsylvania, along with his tenure scheduled to run from January to August 2026.
In accordance with Gambari, the appointment—permitted by the college’s Faculty of Arts and Sciences will permit him to contribute to tutorial discussions whereas advancing his analysis tasks, together with the writing of his memoir.
Gambari beforehand served as Nigeria’s Minister of Exterior Affairs and Everlasting Consultant to the United Nations, and can also be the founding father of the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Improvement.
His forthcoming memoir is predicted to replicate his in depth profession spanning academia, worldwide diplomacy, and public service in Nigeria and past.
