Ibrahim Shekarau, a former governor of Kano State, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Get together (PDP) and joined the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shekarau introduced his defection to the APC on Sunday at his residence in Kano.
He served as governor of Kano State from 2003 to 2011 beneath the now-defunct All Nigeria Peoples Get together (ANPP).
In 2014, he joined the PDP after the ANPP merged with different events to type the APC.
In 2018, the previous governor left the PDP to return to the APC.
Nevertheless, in Could 2022, Shekarau exited the APC for the New Nigeria Peoples Get together (NNPP) following a protracted management dispute with Abdullahi Ganduje.
By August 2022, he had once more switched events, leaving the NNPP to rejoin the PDP.
