Protesters on Thursday took to the streets of Abuja, urging opposition leaders, together with former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and former Senate President David Mark, to keep away from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The protest was led by the factional Nationwide Chairman of the ADC, Nafiu Bala, who accused the politicians of making an attempt to take management of the get together.
Bala was joined by ADC Home of Representatives member, Leke Abejide, as they marched alongside supporters carrying placards with completely different messages.
Among the placards learn, “Woe to Political Marauders” and “Hon. Nafiu Bala, We Stand With You.”
The demonstration seems to be a counter-protest following an earlier rally by the David Mark-led faction on the headquarters of the Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC).
