Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has dissolved the State Govt Council in a transfer seen as getting ready the bottom for the 2027 basic elections.
The dissolution, which takes quick impact, was introduced in an announcement issued by the Secretary to the State Authorities, Bukar Tijani.
Based on the directive, all commissioners are at hand over the administration of their ministries to Everlasting Secretaries on or earlier than April 3, 2026.
Authorities sources indicated that the choice was taken to permit cupboard members who could want to contest elective positions to take action with out battle with their official obligations.
