Babagana Zulum, governor of Borno state has authorised the fast dissolution of the state govt council.
That is in a transfer aimed toward enabling cupboard members to take part within the forthcoming common elections.
The choice was disclosed in a press release issued by Bukar Tijani, the secretary to the state authorities who mentioned the motion was a part of efforts to create an enabling setting for political engagement.
In response to the directive, all commissioners have been instructed at hand over the affairs of their respective ministries to everlasting secretaries on or earlier than April 3, 2026.
