Police rescue two kidnapped victims in Adamawa
The Adamawa State Police Command has rescued two kidnapped victims in Gwewan Village, Track Native Authorities Space of Adamawa State.
In a press assertion issued on Thursday, the spokesperson for the Adamawa State Command, Suleiman Nguroje, stated that one suspected kidnapper was arrested throughout a raid on the abductors’ den.
“The Adamawa State Police Command has efficiently rescued two kidnapped victims and arrested one suspected kidnapper throughout a coordinated safety operation in Track Native Authorities Space, following their kidnapping at Gwewan Village, Dumne in Track LGA,” the assertion learn.
Nguroje added that the success was primarily as a result of strategic deployment of mixed safety property by the Commissioner of Police, Dankwambo Morris, which led to a joint operation comprising police operatives and members of native safety outfits.
He disclosed that the workforce carried out a coordinated raid on a suspected kidnappers’ hideout situated at Suktu Mountain on February 11, 2026.
