14 buried after wedding ceremony cortege drowns in Kebbi boat accident


A marriage ceremony resulted in grief Sunday when an overcrowded passenger boat overturned at nightfall, killing 14 individuals taking part within the ceremony in Yauri native authorities space of Kebbi state.

The deceased included 12 sisters of the bride.

The tragedy occurred in Gumbi village after the sisters and different group members accompanied the bride to her husband’s house in Gwarzo village throughout the river within the Ngaski native authorities space.
