US Congressman Raises Alarm Over ISWAP Threats In opposition to Christians in Nigeria

A United States Congressman, Riley Moore, has raised considerations over reviews of threats in opposition to Christians in Nigeria, describing the state of affairs as non secular persecution.

Moore cited statements allegedly linked to an Islamic State–affiliated group, saying they clearly level to focused assaults on Christians.

In a publish shared on his verified X account on Thursday evening, the lawmaker mentioned the continued debate over the motives behind violence in opposition to Christian communities in Nigeria must be put to relaxation.

He was reacting to posts circulating on X earlier within the day which claimed that the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) launched a picture displaying a Christian village in Adamawa State set ablaze.
