The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) remains mired in internal crises, stemming from the party’s exclusion from the 2019 general elections by the Supreme Court. Despite attempts to regain stability, factional conflicts persist, casting a shadow on the party’s future in the state.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Post, Mr. Chibuike Ikenga, spokesperson for the Tony Okocha-led faction of the APC, shed light on the origins of the crisis, alleging that former Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, is working with Atiku Abubakar to undermine the APC and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
