The Ogun State Police Command has launched a manhunt for an unidentified woman after Inspector Haruna Mohammed, an officer serving with the Ishashi Division of the Lagos State Police Command, was found dead in a hotel at Anthony Uzum Estate, Oyeyemi Akute, Ogun State.
The spokesperson for the Ogun State Police Command, Omolola Odutola, confirmed the inspector’s death to PUNCH Metro on Sunday, stating that the woman had checked into the hotel room with the victim but fled shortly afterwards.
The inspector had allegedly checked into the hotel with the unknown woman at around 1:00 am on Saturday. A few hours later, his lifeless body was discovered in the room under mysterious circumstances.
