House Committee on public petition investigates alleged building code breach in FCT

The House of Representatives Committee on Public Petition has threatened to issue an arrest warrant for the Executive Secretary of the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), Richard Dauda. This decision was made after Dauda failed to appear before the committee to explain his role in an alleged breach of the building code in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).


The committee, chaired by Hon. Irom Michael Etaba, expressed its resolve to address the matter promptly. Etaba questioned why Dauda, who is based in Abuja, chose not to attend the hearing.
