A major financial scandal has emerged as Dr. Agbai Eke, a businessman, accuses a former First Bank branch manager, Mrs. Shamlar Abosi (formerly Ihudiya Ogbonnaya Inem), of diverting N550 million from his fixed deposit account for personal use.
Abosi, who managed Dr. Agbai’s account at First Bank’s Abiriba branch in Abia State, allegedly blocked his access to alerts and mobile banking before discreetly withdrawing the funds. Reports suggest she used part of the money to open an upscale eatery in Umuahia, the Abia State capital.
