The Ministry of Labour and Employment has reaffirmed its support for a bill before the National Assembly, seeking to protect the rights of domestic workers who are among the most vulnerable groups in the Nigerian labour market.
The Minister of Labour and Employment, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, said that domestic workers played a crucial role in Nigerian households and society but were subjected to precarious working conditions.
