FCTA launches free distribution of malaria drugs, test kits

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has commenced the distribution of free malaria medications and diagnostic kits as part of efforts to combat the disease across the territory.


Speaking at the launch in Abuja on Tuesday, Dr Adedolapo Fasawe, Mandate Secretary for the Health Services and Environment Secretariat, reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to eradicating malaria in the FCT.


Fasawe described the two-year distribution programme as a “strategic and purposeful” initiative in the ongoing battle against malaria.
