FBI Arrests Osun King For Allegedly Defrauding US $4.2 Million

The Apetu of Ipetumodu, in Ife North Council Area of Osun State, Oba Joseph Oloyede, has been arrested by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for allegedly defrauding the US government of $4.2 million in COVID-19 fraud.


Papers News reports that the Apetu of Ipetumodu allegedly falsified documents to secure the US government’s loans for businesses affected by COVID-19.


According to Sahara Reporters, the monarch, also a U.S. citizen, is currently battling a 13-count fraud indictment in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
