The Cross River State Government has secured the approval of the National Universities Commission, NUC, for the establishment of the State’s University of Education and Entrepreneurship, Akamkpa.
Governor Bassey Otu, who led a delegation of the state executive to Abuja on Tuesday, was presented with a letter of approval by NUC Executive Secretary, Prof. Abdullahi Yusufu Ribadu, after submitting the Academic Brief, Survey Plan and Law establishing the institution.
Represented by the Secretary to the Cross River State Government, Prof. Anthony Owan-Enoh, Otu said the establishment of the university is a dream come true in the history of education in the state.
