In a remarkable act of interfaith solidarity, the Church of Christ Evangelical and Life Intercessory Ministry, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna, has distributed food supplies to underprivileged Muslims and Islamic schools ahead of Ramadan. The gesture aligns with Governor Uba Sani’s vision of fostering religious harmony and social cohesion in the state.
Led by Pastor Dr. Yohanna Buru, the church provided maize, millet, prayer mats, and plastic kettles, benefiting Almajiri children, beggars, and persons with disabilities at the Kano Road Central Mosque. The move is in ensuring that fasting Muslims—especially those struggling with economic hardship—have enough to sustain them through the holy month.
