Lenovo and Ericsson have reached a global patent cross-licensing agreement, bringing an end to a wide-ranging legal battle over wireless technology patents, the companies announced on Thursday.

Lenovo had launched legal action against Ericsson in London in 2023, one of several cases filed by either party in a prolonged standoff. Both companies have since agreed to enter binding arbitration to determine the final terms of their licensing arrangement.
