JOSEPH Onyi, popularly known by SIBNO-KHIZY, an upcoming Nigerian artiste on Saturday said he will unveil a new musical titled Chinemelum, an Igbo expression meaning “It is God who has done it for me” on Dec.13 in Lagos.
Onyi disclosed this to newsmen during a press briefing in Lagos.
According to him, the title reflects his personal journey, particularly the experiences of people who doubted his ability to achieve success in life.
He said that forthcoming release represents a testimony of God’s faithfulness and the remarkable turnaround in his story.
Onyi explained that despite the doubts and negative expectations of some people, he had continued to make progress and achieve meaningful milestones, giving all the glory to God for how far he has come.
He said that the much-anticipated unveiling of CHINEMELUM is scheduled to take place on 13 December 2026 at Falcon Palace Hotel, Age-Muwo, Badagry, Lagos State.
Speaking further on his music carrier, he said the journey to greatness often begins with a dream, sustained by passion, determination and the courage to keep moving despite challenges.
“This is the inspiring story of Onyi, popularly known by his stage name, SIBNO-KHIZY, an upcoming Nigerian artiste, entrepreneur and Chief Executive Officer of Falcon Palace Hotel, located in the Age-Muwo area of Badagry, Lagos State.
“Beyond my involvement in the hospitality industry, I nurtured a deep passion for music, an ambition that has remained an integral part of his personal journey over the years.
“Operating under my record label, BMT (Bulk Money Team), with SIBNO-KHIZY as my stage identity.
Onyi described the establishment of the label as the fulfilment of a long-standing dream.
According to him, creating his own record label has been an ambition he nurtured for many years, and seeing that dream become a reality represents a significant milestone in his musical journey.
“I started my musical career officially in 2007 in Anambra State, Nigeria.
“However, my inspiration and love for music can be traced back to his primary school days, when my singing performances attracted the attention and encouragement of people around him,” he said.
The young artiste said that their enthusiastic responses and constant motivation strengthened his confidence and encouraged him to pursue his musical aspirations.
“As my passion developed, i gradually found himself performing on different stages alongside my crew, attending concerts and gaining practical experience in the entertainment industry.
“I expanded my knowledge and skills by learning Disc Jockeying (DJ), further broadening his involvement in music and entertainment.
“Although circumstances eventually led to the separation of his former musical crew, Joseph disclosed that he still maintains contact with some of the members,” he said.
According to him, they remain in communication and are doing well in their respective professions.
He said that his journey also reflected an interesting combination of entrepreneurship and entertainment.
“As the Chief Executive Officer of Falcon Palace Hotel in the Age-Muwo area of Badagry, I have established myself in the hospitality business while continuing to pursue my creative aspirations in music.
“My involvement in both fields demonstrates my desire to explore different opportunities, develop his ambitions and build a lasting personal identity,” he said
