Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has replied to a playful boxing challenge from fellow singer Teni, and fans are already hyped.
Teni posted a video on social media calling out the Somebody’s Son singer to a fight.
She said, Mama, make we fight, and joked that she would beat Tiwa and then sing My Darling for her.
She also talked money in the video.
Teni floated a prize of ₦1.5 billion and asked if that would be enough to buy her a Bugatti. In her caption, she bumped the figure up to 3 billion and promised to apologise outside the ring.
Tiwa did not back down.
She dropped a short reply in the comment section: Pick a date.
Her answer got fans talking, with many excited at the thought of the two stars squaring up in a ring.
The challenge comes as celebrity boxing keeps growing in Nigeria.
Recent fights include former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna against actress Nkechi Blessing in Lagos, as part of the Chaos in the Ring series.
For now, nothing is official. No date, venue, promoter, rules or confirmed prize has been announced, and the ₦1.5 billion figure was only part of Teni’s social media joke.
Still, Tiwa’s reply has left the door open for the banter to become a real fight.
