Qatar Sports Investments (QSI), the Qatari investment group that owns Paris Saint-Germain, has completed its acquisition of Belgian second-division club KAS Eupen.
QSI confirmed the development on Thursday, several months after taking control of Eupen’s sporting operations.
The investment group said the completion of the transaction formally makes it the full owner of the Belgian club, following its takeover of the club’s sporting operations in December 2025.
According to QSI, both sides have been working together to establish a foundation for Eupen’s long-term sporting and commercial development.
The latest move further expands QSI’s presence in European football.
The investment group acquired a majority stake in PSG in 2011 and has also held a minority interest in Portuguese club Braga since 2022. Under Qatari ownership, PSG have won 12 of the last 14 Ligue 1 titles and are the reigning two-time Champions League holders.
Eupen, meanwhile, has been under Qatari ownership since 2012 through Aspire Academy, which has used the club as part of its pathway for developing young football talent.
The Belgian side spent eight consecutive seasons in the country’s top division before being relegated to the second tier in May 2024.
With QSI now having formalised full ownership, attention will turn to the group’s plans for Eupen’s sporting development and its position within the wider network of clubs and football projects connected to Qatari investment.
