Nigeria’s disease control agency has said that people traveling from countries where Ebola virus is spreading must fill out a health form when they arrive in Nigeria.
This is to help stop the disease from coming into Nigeria.
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and Prevention made this announcement on Tuesday.
They said this is because there is an ongoing Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, which is a country in Africa.
The health declaration form is a document that travelers must complete to answer questions about their health.
By filling out this form, the government can keep track of people who might be at risk and monitor them to make sure they do not get sick.
However, people arriving from other countries that do not have active Ebola cases do not need to fill out this form right now.
The disease control agency is asking Nigerian people to be careful and watch out for symptoms of Ebola.
Symptoms include fever, weakness, and bleeding.
If anyone thinks they might have Ebola, they should go to a hospital or clinic right away and tell the doctors about any recent travel or contact with sick people.
The agency said Nigeria is watching the situation closely.
