The Zone One Command of the Kano State police has declared a 37-year-old man, Usman Ibrahim, wanted over allegations of criminal activities.
The zone alleged that Ibrahim carried our conspiracy, cheating, criminal misappropriation and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace offences prompting the issuance of a wanted notice against the suspect.
Also, the notice provided his physical description to assist members of the public in identifying him.
Ibrahim was identified as dark-complexioned, with a round face and black eyes and his last known address was given as No. 14, Layin Jaji-Majigama, in Nasarawa Local Government Area of Kano State.
The Zone One Police Public Relations Officer, Hussaini Abdullahi, confirmed the development in a bulletin made available to journalists on Tuesday.
According to the police, the wanted notice was issued under the authority of the Inspector-General of Police and referenced Force Directive CID No. 48, which provides for rewards for information that leads to the arrest of wanted persons.
Moreover, the command urged anyone with useful information on Ibrahim’s whereabouts to report immediately to the nearest police station or the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone One, Kano.
The police also advised anyone who encounters the suspect to assist in facilitating his arrest and ensure that he is handed over to the appropriate police authorities for further investigation.
