The Kano Matchmaking Marriage Association, popularly known as Mai Dalilin Aure, has offered four women to a 22-year-old commercial tricycle rider, Auwalu Salisu, after he returned N15 million left in his vehicle by a passenger.
Salisu reportedly found the money, which included some CFA currency, inside his tricycle after transporting a passenger from the Republic of Chad.
Rather than keep the cash, the young man made efforts to return it to its owner, earning praise for his honesty and integrity.
In recognition of his conduct, the matchmaking association offered him the opportunity to choose four women from a list of 10 prospective brides.
Speaking with Freedom Radio Kano, the association’s chairman, Alhaji Mukhtar Inuwa Yakasai, said the gesture was intended to reward Salisu for demonstrating exceptional honesty and trustworthiness.

Yakasai disclosed that two of the 10 women presented to Salisu are his own daughters.
“He is indeed trustworthy. That is why we have decided to honour him with these gifts,” Yakasai said.
“There are 10 women for him to select from. Two of them are my daughters.”
The chairman said the young man’s decision to return the substantial amount of money demonstrated qualities the association considered worthy of recognition.
The unusual reward has drawn attention to Salisu’s act of honesty, particularly at a time when stories of lost cash being recovered and returned to owners often attract public interest.
The association’s gesture is expected to give Salisu the opportunity to select four prospective brides from the 10 women offered to him.
