Senator Dayo Adeyeye, the South-West Coordinator of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, on Wednesday invoked President Bola Tinubu’s historic “Emi Lokan” declaration in Abeokuta, framing the Ogun State capital as the symbolic birthplace of the administration’s political mandate.
Speaking at the inauguration of the movement’s Ogun State Secretariat in Abeokuta, Adeyeye described the June 2022 declaration as the decisive turning point that secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential ticket for Tinubu against formidable internal party opposition.
He called on the electorate in Ogun State to deliver a decisive vote for the President in the January 16 poll, urging them to consolidate the reforms and socio-economic gains initiated by the administration.

Former Deputy Governor and State Coordinator, Prince Segun Adesegun, said President Tinubu’s card in the last four years qualified him for a re-election in 2027.
He cited some of the landmark projects being executed by the Tinubu administration including the Lagos-Calabar Coastal highway, Ibadan-Ijebu Ode and Abeokuta-Ibadan dualisation as well as the Lagos-Ogun-Sokoto highway.
Adeyeye maintained that President Tinubu inherited a failing economy from the Buhari administration, noting that eliminating the fuel subsidy was the decisive step that saved the nation.
He explained that the subsidy removal has unlocked unprecedented revenue allocations for states and local councils, replacing an era when sub-national governments routinely failed to meet payroll and operational costs.
Echoing his call, former Ogun Governor and APC elder statesman Olusegun Osoba urged voters to deliver a decisive mandate for Tinubu, APC governorship candidate Solomon Adeola, and all National and State Assembly flagbearers to solidify the party’s hold on the region.
“For Tinubu’s second term, the votes must be very, very heavy in Ogun state and in the Southwest,” he told the crowds of party supporters who massed at the newly inaugurated secretariat.
Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma, and National Coordinator/Director General of Renewed Hope Ambassadors,
told supporters to adopt the “top-to- bottom” approach in voting APC candidates in next year’s polls.
Represented by Chief Olisa Metuh, ex-PDP National Secretary, Uzodimma, disclosed that APC has over 4 million polling units coordinators nationwide.
He said the coast was now clear for Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
Launched in 2025 to showcase President Bola Tinubu’s achievements and support his upcoming re-election bid, the initiative operates across all 20 LGAs and 236 wards in Ogun State and 774 LGA and 36 states.
