Senator Musiliu Obanikoro the Director General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu /Kadiri Obafemi Hamzat PBAT/KOH Campaign 2027 in Lagos State, has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election equals a prosperous future for Nigeria and Nigerians.
Obanikoro made this declaration at the official inauguration of The President Bola Tinubu 2027 Re-Election Support Group campaign in Lagos on Friday.
Speaking at the inauguration of the group powered by Mr. Fola Tinubu, Obanikoro said that governance across Nigeria has made a good leap ever since Tinubu’s emergence in 2023 and that his re-election in 2027 will only translate to greater gains for the generality of the populace.
He raised a point of concern over the abysmal performance the All Progressives Congress electorates in the 2023 elections, while adding that such should never be heard of in Lagos again given the fact that Tinubu built a lot of human capital amongst whom he is one.
He stressed that going forward Lagos should show its strenght by massively voting to assert the dominance of the progessives-APC all the way.
“We have turned the corner and Asiwaju is going to take us to the promised land, the most important thing is that we have started a journey towards economic recovery, political stability, security of lives and properties.
“That is the journey that we have embarked upon since 2023 with the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“I’m sure he will continue on that journey and ensure that we explode as a nation.
“This explosion entails more for the common people, more for students, more for the poor people, everybody will have something to celebrate, that is what Asiwaju has promised Nigerians, to revive our economy, create a safe and sound society for us, educate our children and take Nigeria to a new height.
“There is no doubt in my mind that he has that capacity he has done it in Lagos and he has started it at the federal level and at the end of his tenure, after eight years of his stewardship, you will see that Asiwaju will create a Nigeria never seen in the history of Africa. We will be a leading nation in all ramifications.
He however, urged well meaning Nigerians to join the fray of support for the re-election of PBAT.
“Election particularly in a state like Lagos, is not an easy task and when you have people who are committed like Fola to ensure that the political class are given the support that is needed to ensure that we crossed the finish line successfully, this is an added support because the party is doing a lot and if those individuals can step out the way he has stepped out to support the campaign, I am sure January 2027 will be one of happiest month in our lives.
“Electorates should come out and support the President and other people of goodwill should also come out and do exactly what Fola Tinubu is doing to support Mr. President.”
The Former Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Adeyemi Ikurofiji was however quick to add that at least a total of 3 million votes should come from Lagos alone in the 2027 elections for President Bola Tinubu, he urged the electorates to use their Permanent Voters Cards wisely in order to secure a better future.
The PBT 2027 Re-Election Support Group Director General Mr. Fola Tinubu also urged Nigerians to consider all good works of PBAT in times past from Lagos state to the federal level and allow its continuity.
“We need to allow him to put a vision in place and he has demonstrated to everybody what he can do, he has the capacity and the ability, look is it NELFUND I want to talk about, is it coastal roads, local government autonomy, he has done a lot of structural changes showing up gradually.
“Naira is stable now, people are investing in Nigeria everybody trust Nigeria now, so the president has done a yeoman’s job for Nigeria.
“I know things are not perfect but we need to trust him and let him finish.
“We want as many people as possible to vote for our president and not just him, vote all APC candidates up and down the ticket, because the president cannot do it alone.
“He needs people in the Senate, he needs people in the House of Reps and also in the states, so we are going all over southwest to campaign for every APC members. Trust APC, trust us, we will deliver.
“We will not let you down and we’ve already shown what we can do with the stability of our economy, I read somewhere that Nigeria is one of the fastest growing economy now it is because of all the hard work that he has down in the last three years, so, I am going to implore everybody, let us stay and finish the good work.”
The Director Media and Publicity PBT 2027 Re-Election Support Group, Mrs. Olamide Agboke harped on the main agenda of the group, which bothers much on massively voting for PBAT re-election for the second term.
“He has done alot. I don’t think there should be any project that will stop halfway while trying to bring in another person, let the movement continue, let us move forward from where we stopped, Tinubu is sure to take us to the next level.”
Many other eminent personalities and ethnic and community leaders were also present at the epoch making event.
