King Ochacho has described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as one of the best presidents he has seen in his lifetime, while urging Nigerians to remain patient with the administration’s ongoing process.
Ochacho made the remarks during a livestream with popular content creator Peller on Thursday, September 17, 2026, while discussing leadership, governance and the current situation in Nigeria.
Asked about his view of the country’s leadership, Ochacho said his primary concern was good governance rather than opposing any particular person in power.
“What I want is good governance. So if the person in power can give us everything, I am good,” he said.
He added that his prayer was for whoever occupies the country’s leadership position to succeed rather than for people to fight against those in government.
Peller then asked Ochacho whether he had met Nigeria’s political leaders personally.
Ochacho said he had met several of them before turning specifically to Tinubu.
“Forget about what is happening. I am not here to preach for Tinubu, but Tinubu is one of the best presidents I have seen in my lifetime,” he said.
He went further to describe Tinubu as “one of the greatest politicians of all time” and claimed that the president played a major role in helping Muhammadu Buhari become president.
Peller appeared surprised by the assessment and asked Ochacho to rate Tinubu on a scale of one to 10.
Rather than give a numerical rating, Ochacho asked Peller to look beyond the circumstances confronting the administration, maintaining that Tinubu was an exceptional politician.

Peller reminded Ochacho of the rising cost of rice, saying his family could no longer afford the staple as easily.
“It is expensive,” Peller said.
Ochacho responded by asking him not to worry and argued that major changes can be difficult at the beginning.
“When you are starting a good process, the starting is always very difficult,” Ochacho said. “But don’t worry. With time, the road will be smooth and steady.”
