Chelsea have ended Arsenal’s 20-game unbeaten run in the English Women’s League, WSL, following a spirited 1-0 win in the race for the competition’s title.
Forward, Alyssa Thompson, found the solitary goal four minutes before halftime in the feisty encounter at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, to chalk off the their neighbour’s spree and move the West Londoners in touching distance with leaders, Manchester City.
