Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, Victor Ikpe, popularly known as Keivo, has been disqualified from the reality show following a physical altercation with fellow housemate, Tram.
The disqualification followed a physical confrontation between Keivo and Tram after a disagreement over a black shirt belonging to Tram. Tram accused Keivo of taking the shirt, an allegation Keivo denied, saying he had a similar shirt.
Big Brother announced Keivo’s disqualification on Tuesday, after summoning the housemates to the lounge and showing them footage of the incident.
Addressing the housemates after showing them the footage, Big Brother condemned the incident and stressed that violence was not acceptable in the house.
“No disagreement, accusation or personal grievance justifies violence,” Big Brother said, adding that “violence is never an option.”
Big Brother subsequently identified Keivo as the perpetrator of the violent act and announced his removal from the competition.
“Keivo, as the perpetrator, has been removed from the house. He is therefore disqualified from the house,” Big Brother announced.
Before his removal, Keivo became emotional while explaining his actions, maintaining that the disagreement was not simply about the shirt but also about being accused of taking something that did not belong to him.
Keivo’s disqualification brings his participation in the Season 11 “Show Ya Sef” reality show to an end, following weeks of competition among the housemates.
