The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027 has thrown its weight behind Senator Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari following his appointment as Director General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidential Campaign Council, pledging robust grassroots mobilisation to secure victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2027 elections.

In a statement issued by its National Coordinator, Comrade Sunday Adekanbi Asuku, the group described Yari’s selection as merited and a strong indication of the party’s confidence in his political acumen and unwavering commitment to the APC cause.

“We congratulate Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar on this well-deserved appointment. He remains a devoted party stalwart whose experience, network, and capacity are ideally suited for this critical assignment,” the statement read. “We are confident that Senator Yari will execute the mandate effectively and steer the campaign toward a decisive victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC in 2027.”

The Movement commended Yari’s loyalty to the party and expressed optimism that he would leverage his extensive political background to coordinate a seamless and impactful campaign.

It urged the newly constituted campaign council to act with urgency, strengthening party structures, energising supporters, and communicating the Tinubu administration’s achievements directly to grassroots communities across Nigeria.

“There is no room for delay. The task demands immediate action, cohesion, and aggressive engagement at the grassroots level,” the group emphasised.

The Movement reaffirmed its full cooperation with the campaign council, noting that its operational framework spanning all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory stands ready for activation. Its network of Zonal Coordinators, State Coordinators, and Ward-level Crusaders, it said, would be fully deployed to rally support for President Tinubu and all APC candidates in the 2025 general elections.

Additionally, the group called on APC stakeholders and members to unite, stressing that harmony, strategic coordination, and robust grassroots outreach remain essential to securing an overwhelming mandate for the party in 2027.
