Nollywood actress and evangelist Tonto Dikeh has announced the launch of the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), an interdenominational Christian fellowship in Abuja.
The development comes months after Dikeh shared a public testimony about her deliverance from smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation and prolonged anger issues during a service at Streams of Joy International Church.
Dikeh, who told the congregation that she started smoking at the age of 13, said she had been healed of the struggles.
Announcing the new ministry in a post shared on her Instagram page on Monday, Dikeh described NWPT as “an interdenominational altar, spiritual home, and global movement of consecrated believers.”
She said the movement was established for believers seeking to experience what she described as the “raw power, purity, and presence of God.”
According to Dikeh, the vision of NWPT is to see a global awakening of consecrated believers who would transform nations and advance the Kingdom of Christ.
“Our mission is to build an interdenominational altar of prayer, revival, and apostolic training that equips watchmen, activates spiritual gifts, drives relentless soul winning, and delivers total freedom to the captive through the power of the Holy Spirit,” she said.
Dikeh also clarified that the movement is not a conventional church, describing it as an intense gathering of believers committed to the purposes of God.
“This is not a church, it is an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God. A people set apart, refined by His presence, and commissioned to advance His Kingdom,” she added.
The New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle will hold its fellowship every Friday at 6pm at Omini Grand Hotel, formerly Alexis Hotel, upstairs by Masalachi Junction, Jabi, Abuja.
