The skateboarder shared the footage on Instagram, describing it as a ‘life hack’ and thanking the team that helped make the shot possible. “MY LIFE HACK: ECLIPSE MODE! There is no 2 without 3. First the sun, then the moon and today we make history with this eclipse. THANKS TO THE WHOLE TEAM FOR MAKING THIS POSSIBLE,” he wrote.

Total solar eclipse swept across several regions
The stunt was captured during the total solar eclipse on August 12. The eclipse crossed Greenland, Iceland, northern Russia, the Atlantic Ocean, Spain and a small part of Portugal. Several other regions across the Northern Hemisphere, including much of Europe and parts of northwestern Africa, experienced a partial eclipse.
What happens during a solar eclipse?
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking some or all of the Sun’s light from reaching parts of Earth. During a total solar eclipse, the Moon completely covers the visible disc of the Sun.
