The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has declared two men, Folawiyo Alagbado and Ajibola Obateru, wanted over allegations of murder in Lagos.
The security agency stated that Alagbado and Obateru allegedly conspired with others to attack a woman then killed her and took her body to an unknown location, while also stealing her personal belongings.
According to a wanted-person bulletin issued by the police on Wednesday, the police held that the duo commited the offence in an incident which occurred in the Ikoyi axis of Lagos State, after which the suspects allegedly fleeing the scene after the attack.
The police claim that the suspects allegedly made away with the victim’s belongings and subsequently disappeared, prompting the authorities to launch efforts to locate and apprehend them in connection with the case.
Alagbado, 32, is described by the police as a Yoruba man of average height, with an oval face, wide nose, long wide mouth and dark complexion. His last known address is listed as Ibadan, Oyo State.
Obateru, 33, is also described as a Yoruba man, measuring about 5.9 feet tall and having a thin build, oval face, long nose, small mouth and fair complexion. His last known address is also listed as Ibadan, Oyo State.
The police declared both men wanted through the Office of the Commissioner of Police, State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Panti-Yaba, Lagos, in connection with case reference CR:3000/LSX/D18/VOL. 1/68.
The force urged anyone with information that could assist in locating either suspect to report immediately to the nearest police station or contact the SCID at Panti-Yaba, Lagos, on 08038843816.
The police appealed to members of the public to cooperate with investigators by providing credible information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects and aid further investigation into the alleged murder.
