The operatives of the Benue Police Command has arrested three foreign nationals in Benue State over their alleged involvement in suspected clandestine activities.
As gathered, the foreign nationals were apprehended following credible intelligence received by security operatives in the state of their secret activities in the state.
The Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Ani Iniedu, disclosed the arrest on Wednesday, while highlighting the operational successes of state police commands across the country.
The suspects are currently in police custody as investigators work to determine the nature of their activities, establish their identities and ascertain whether the case poses any security threat.
According to Iniedu, the suspects have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) in Makurdi, where a comprehensive investigation is underway.
The police said further details would be made public as investigations progress.
