ARISE News Channel will on Tuesday host a special town hall bringing together leading candidates in the 2026 Osun State governorship election to discuss their plans for the state before a representative audience.
The event, themed “2026 Governorship Election: The Battle for Osun State,” is scheduled to hold at the Aurora Conference & Events Center, Ring Road, Osogbo, Osun State.
The town hall will be broadcast live from 11:00 a.m. and is designed to provide a platform for the candidates to engage voters on issues surrounding the governorship election and the future of the state.
According to the invitation released by ARISE News, three candidates have so far been confirmed for the event.
They are Governor Ademola Adeleke of the Accord Party, Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Dr Najeem Salaam of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
The forum is expected to provide the candidates with an opportunity to present their policy positions and respond to issues of concern to residents ahead of the election.
ARISE News described the programme as a special televised forum bringing the leading governorship candidates together with a representative audience drawn from across Osun State.
The town hall will be available to viewers through ARISE News’ television and digital platforms and will also be broadcast across its international reach in the Middle East, Europe and 54 African countries.
Attendance at the physical event is strictly by invitation, with accreditation, arrival, security and seating details to be communicated to confirmed guests.
