Victor Osimhen scored and provided an assist as Galatasaray came from behind to defeat Goztepe 3-2 in a thrilling Turkish Super Lig encounter at RAMS Park on Saturday.
The visitors made a strong start and shocked the home crowd when Novatus Miroshi opened the scoring in the 16th minute.
Osimhen inspires Galatasaray comeback
Galatasaray responded before half-time, with defender Davinson Sánchez restoring parity three minutes after the half-hour mark.
The hosts continued to push after the restart and eventually completed the turnaround in the 55th minute. Osimhen played a key role in the move, setting up Gabriel Sara, who finished to put Galatasaray 2-1 ahead.
The Nigeria international then got his name on the scoresheet eight minutes later after Galatasaray were awarded a penalty. Osimhen stepped up and converted from the spot to extend his side’s advantage.

The goal continued an impressive start to the campaign for the striker, who has quickly established himself as one of Galatasaray’s main attacking threats.
Goztepe fight back but fall short
Goztepe refused to surrender and responded just two minutes after Osimhen’s penalty.
Juan pulled a goal back in the 65th minute, setting up a tense final period at RAMS Park as the visitors searched for an equaliser.
Galatasaray, however, held on to secure all three points despite the late pressure.
Osimhen’s contribution was decisive, with the forward directly involved in two of Galatasaray’s three goals.
The 27-year-old has now scored five goals in three league appearances for the Turkish champions this season.
