Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has clashed with police officers who attempted to arrest him at a Lagos club.
In the trending video, the popular rapper was captured in a car arguing with the police officers who surrounded him.
In the clip, the musician told the officers they had no jurisdiction, noting how they came to his estate in a bid to arrest him.
Odumodu said his estate informed him of their visit, and he told his lawyer, who attended the meeting with the police.
The rapper made it clear that he wasn’t resisting arrest, but it’s illegal to arrest him at such an event.
“You don’t have the jurisdiction; you came to my house. Don’t tell me to wait. You told my estate people to tell me to come, and I told my lawyers, and they attended to it. I am not resisting an arrest. My lawyers attended to it”.
It has been a tough time for the rapper, who has been in the news lately.
In a social media post, Odumodu said he survived one of the greatest lies and smear campaigns in the history of the Nigerian music industry.
He noted that hundreds of millions of bots were trying to push narratives, and someday he would speak his truth.
Meanwhile, the rapper had dragged Arise TV presenter, Oseni Rufai, calling him a terrible journalist. He noted how he can’t spell his name right, yet wants to talk to him. He said he would rather tell someone else his story.
This came after Oseni Rufai had offered his rival, BlaqBonez, a platform to shed light on their fallout, which didn’t sit well with Odumodu, who dragged them both into a series of social media rants.
Following his tantrums, Oseni politely invited him to respond to BlaqBonez’s interview. He encouraged the rapper to share his side of the story and expressed happiness at receiving him.
Odumodublvck has been at war with BlaqBonez following their fallout a year ago, which allegedly stemmed from their battle over a woman.
