
The newly elected President of National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS), Comrade Jimoh Ibrahim Omooba, has extended hands of fellowship to contestants and stakeholders in the just concluded elections of the association, pledging to run an inclusive administration.
He stated this in a statement he personally signed and made available to journalists.
“The campaign is over; the work has begun. I extend a hand of fellowship to every contestant, supporter, and stakeholder.
” Let us unite in purpose and work collectively for the advancement of our dear association,” he said.
The president reaffirmed his commitment to the growth of the association, adding that his administration will remain focused on the pillars of the association.
“As we celebrate this victory, I reaffirm my unwavering commitment to the ideals upon which our movement was built. My administration will remain focused on our five cardinal pillars: Welfare & Advocacy, Educational Reform & Policy Engagement, Unity & Institutional Strengthening, Capacity Building & Empowerment, Strategic Partnerships & Innovation
“Together, we will build an inclusive, transparent, accountable, and result-oriented NAPS that will defend the interests of every polytechnic student and elevate the association to greater heights,” he said.
He appreciated all those that stood by him, pledging that he will not disappoint them.
“With a heart overflowing with gratitude, I, Comr. Jimoh Ibrahim Omooba, sincerely appreciate every stakeholder, mentor, leader, executive, senator, comrade, supporter, and the entire polytechnic student community for the overwhelming confidence reposed in me, culminating in my emergence as the President of the National Association of Polytechnic Students.
“This victory is not mine alone; it belongs to every student who believed in our shared vision of a stronger, united, and more progressive NAPS. It is a mandate for service, responsibility, and transformational leadership.
“To everyone who stood by us with their prayers, resources, encouragement, and unwavering support throughout this journey, I say thank you. Your sacrifices, trust, and commitment will never be taken for granted,” he said.
