The lawmaker representing Osun East Senatorial District, Francis Fadahunsi, has honoured an invitation from the Osun State Police Command over his alleged comment directing supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to “kill” members of the rival Accord Party during the state governorship election.
The lawmaker had been summoned through a letter signed by the Commissioner of Police, Elections, Osun State, Samuel Erale, to clarify the circumstances surrounding the statements allegedly made during a political rally for the August 15 governorship election in the state.
The APC chieftain arrived at the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Osogbo, at about 2:35 p.m. on Wednesday.
