Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly called Ogogo, has been confirmed dead after losing the battle against cancer.
The actor, who became popular through his ability to act different roles in Yoruba movies, died barely two months before his 67th birthday.
The actor’s daughter, Kira Taiwo, disclosed on Sunday during a live session on her social media page, to clarify reports on the status of the father’s health.
The actor’s demise came a few days after his daughter announced he was battling stage four cancer, a development that attracted donations from politicians and his fans.
Before the development, there were efforts to offer him quality treatment, with reports noting that the Ogun State All Progressives Congress’ governorship candidate, Adeola Olamilekan, popularly called Yayi, offered financial backing for his treatment.
