Ex-CNA Adamu Fika was thorough-bred technocrat, civil servant – Abbas


Speaker of the House of Representatives Abbas Tajudeen, has noted that the former Director-General and Clerk to the National Assembly, Dr. Adamu Fika, was a “thorough-bred technocrat and civil servant who gave his best in service to the country.”

The speaker said this Friday in a condolence message issued through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi.

Fika, who died at an Abuja hospital on Thursday, was also the chairman of the National Assembly Service Commission (NASC), and until his death he was the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Council of Retired Clerks and Secretaries of the National Assembly. 

He also had a stint at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, near Jos in Plateau state.

While praying to Allah (SWT) to grant Dr. Fika Jannatul Firdaus, the speaker commiserated with the family of the deceased, his community, and the National Assembly management.
