Chelsea Football Club have announced that English footballer, Trevor Chalobar, has departed the club to join for Serie A side, FC Como, after almost a decade spell at the English club.
The west London side revealed that Chalobah penned a five-year contract with the Como, to join on a permanently in a desk with €30 million plus add-ons, to bring an end to his stint with the Pensioners after 19 years, having started as an academy player, en route to elevating to the senior side.
“Trevoh Chalobah has completed a permanent transfer to Como, bringing his time as a Chelsea player to an end after nearly two decades with the Blues,” reads a Chelsea statement on Sunday.
”Everyone at Chelsea would like to thank Trev for his years of loyal service and wish him the very best in his next chapter in Italy,” the circular further reads in part.
“I’m thrilled and honoured to be here at Como,” the 27-year-old said after the switch to Como which has his former teammate, Cesc Fabregas as manager

“He has competed and won at the highest level, but he is also hungry to begin a new chapter and continue improving. He gives us strength, speed and personality in defence, as well as the technical quality to build from the back.
“He is a leader who can raise the level of the team, and I am very happy that he has chosen Como,” the Spanish tactician added.
Chalobah arrived at Chelsea as an Under-9 and progressed through the Academy and was an integral part of the side that won the UEFA Youth League in 2016 as well as consecutive FA Youth Cups, scoring semi-final and final goals in 2017.
With the senior side, the defender play over 105 games scoring seven goals winning the FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, the UEFA and League and FIFA Confederations Cup.
