Popular Nigerian TikTok creator Peller has shared the personal reason behind his decision to marry his fiancée, Jarvis, saying he wants to break a family cycle after growing up with parents who never got married.
Speaking during a recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, the content creator said his childhood experience shaped his views on marriage and inspired him to build a different future for himself.
According to Peller, his parents had children without getting married, a situation he is determined not to repeat.
“My parents did not get married and gave birth to us. I want to break that curse and get married. Of course, I must do marriage,” he said.
The social media personality also disclosed that his family initially did not believe he was serious when he first announced his intention to marry Jarvis.
“I told my parents I want to get married, and when I told them, it was like a joke. They didn’t take me seriously. I told them, ‘I want to marry her. I love her,’” he added.
Jarvis, who appeared alongside him on the podcast, also reflected on their relationship, revealing that they first met in person in November 2024 after interacting online. She added that she organised their first date.
Peller further explained that the energetic personality millions of fans see in his videos is largely part of his online brand, describing himself as much calmer in private.
According to him, he spends much of his time planning new business ideas and thinking about ways to grow his income whenever he is away from the cameras.
He also dismissed suggestions that getting married could affect his career as a content creator, insisting that marriage would not reduce his creativity or performance.
Peller maintained that he remains committed to both his relationship and his career, expressing confidence that he can successfully balance family life with content creation.
