White House uses altered Bad Bunny song in deportation hype video

The White House posted a TikTok video Thursday featuring ICE agents detaining immigrants set to Bad Bunny’s “LA MuDANZA,” a song off his album “Debí Tirar Más Fotos” (2026).

The video altered the song’s original lyrics to praise President Donald Trump, reported TMZ.

Instead of the original, “Un aplauso a Mami y Papi porque en verdad rompieron,” or “a round of applause for mom and dad, because they really crushed it,” the White House wrote, “a round of applause for Donald J. Trump because he really crushed it.” The TikTok was captioned, “We’re making America great again.”

Bad Bunny, the Puerto Rican artist born Benito Antonio Martínez-Ocasio, has been a vocal critic of the Trump administration and its policies.

He performed at the Super Bowl halftime show in February, delivering a message of solidarity to Latino and immigrant communities.

Bad Bunny has not yet publicly responded to the White House’s use of his music, according to TMZ.
