Uba Sani Picks KADIRS Boss Adams As Running Mate

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has reportedly settled for the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service, Comrade Jerry Adams, as his running mate for the 2027 governorship election.

The development, first reported by Kakaaki Reporters, is said to have ended weeks of speculation over who would be paired with the governor ahead of the next electoral cycle.

The choice is also believed to have addressed concerns over the religious sensitivity often associated with political calculations in Kaduna State.

Adams currently serves as the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KADIRS, where he has been credited with driving reforms aimed at strengthening the state’s revenue administration.

He is widely regarded as a public administrator with experience spanning both the public and private sectors.

A graduate of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Adams has also undergone professional training at several institutions, a background that supporters say has prepared him for higher public office.

Throughout his career, Adams has consistently advocated accountability, transparency and ethical governance, principles that have shaped his leadership style at KADIRS.

As of the time of filing this report, the Kaduna State Government had yet to issue an official statement confirming the reported nomination.
