The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo state, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, Thursday, declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to equitable development, national integration and the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Senator Alli said this in a statement he personally signed to commend President Bola Tinubu for approving over N1.137 trillion for the construction and rehabilitation of eight strategic road projects across the three senatorial districts of Oyo state.
The APC governorship candidate noted that the massive investment in critical road infrastructure is a clear testament that Oyo state occupies a strategic place in the development agenda of the federal government.
He described the approval as a historic intervention that would transform the state’s infrastructure, stimulate economic growth, enhance regional connectivity and improve the living standards of the people.
“The people of Oyo state are grateful to President Bola Tinubu for this unprecedented investment in our future. These projects will open up our rural communities, reduce travel time, create thousands of jobs, improve security, encourage investments and accelerate economic prosperity across the state,” he said.
Senator Alli added that, “this singular approval has once again reaffirmed that President Tinubu is a leader who listens to the yearnings of the people and responds with bold and impactful actions.”
