Nigerian content creator and livestreamer Peller has claimed he turned down an offer from DSTV to broadcast his upcoming wedding to fellow creator Jarvis, saying he prefers to stream the event on his own platforms.
The social media personality made the revelation in a video that has circulated widely online ahead of the couple’s planned wedding on August 1, 2026.
According to Peller, the pay television company allegedly approached him with a proposal to air the ceremony. However, he said he politely declined because he wanted to maintain control of the broadcast.
Speaking in the viral clip, Peller thanked DSTV for the reported interest but insisted that he and Jarvis would personally stream the wedding for their fans.
“DSTV wants to stream my marriage. Yes, they want to stream the wedding for us. But guess what, DSTV we love you. I’m a streamer. I’m big, I know, but please let me stream my wedding, na my wedding.
“My wife and I will stream our thing on Twitch, YouTube and TikTok. DSTV, thank you.”
DailyInsightNG recalls that Peller and Jarvis previously announced August 1, 2026, as the date for their highly anticipated wedding, an event that has attracted significant attention from their online followers.
The couple have built a large audience through their livestreams and social media content, making their wedding one of the most anticipated influencer events of the year.
As of the time of filing this report, DSTV has not publicly commented on Peller’s claim regarding the alleged broadcast proposal.
