Paul Pelosi charged with hit-and-run in Napa County

Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, is facing hit-and-run charges after allegedly smashing his convertible into a parked car in Napa County before driving off.

Napa County Sheriff’s deputies responded to reports of a hit-and-run on the 6700 block of Yount Street in Yountville, on July 3 around 2:30 p.m., KRON 4 reported.

After police tracked Pelosi down, the 86-year-old admitted to hitting something but said he wasn’t aware what he struck.

Police determined that alcohol was not a factor in Pelosi’s crash.

Police did not arrest Pelosi.

The case has been transferred to the district attorney’s office for a formal review. A California DMV re-evaluation referral form will also be submitted to the DMV.
