The director-general of the Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) Campaign Organisation in Osun state, Hon. Wole Oke, has urged voters to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the August 15 governorship election.
He warned against reelecting someone who can hardly read a prepared speech.
Speaking at a rally in Awo, Egbedore local government area, Tuesday, Oke said voters should not elect a governor who did not employ the youth, did not properly take care of the health sector, and “can’t read or write.”
He also alleged that when the opposition candidate went to London, he was given a speech to read, but could not, and urged voters to instead choose competence and someone with educational background like Oyebamiji.
Oke said the August 15 election offers Osun a chance to change direction and that APC is determined to lead the state.
He cited the large turnout of supporters at APC rallies in Ede and Awo as proof that the party is gaining momentum and is on course for victory.
